The stray animals need help
For quite some time Robin Hood has been supporting “Elbasan cares about Animals” with money for food. As the collaboration was very good, we decided to help further. During a project trip in February of 2020 we were able to convince ourselves of the good work the animal rights activists do on site.
We also met with the city administration and hope that we can carry out a castration campaign, as well as an ‘adoption at a distance’ program. Moreover, we want to support the shelter, housing 150 dogs, with food, new fences and dog houses.
The local stray animals need all the help they can get, as outside of Elbasan they are still shot or killed in other ways. With Elbasan, we want to create a flagship project for the rest of Albania.
